PRODUCT MISSION
A data workspace for checking gold claims
GoldObserve combines source-labelled market observations, reproducible calculations and practical physical-gold workflows. Its purpose is to make the evidence behind a number easier to inspect—not to turn charts into predictions.
What you can do here
Compare current gold and silver references, explore historical patterns, examine official supply and positioning data, and test purchase or portfolio scenarios.
- Every market value shows its source and observation time.
- Official observations and GoldObserve calculations are labelled separately.
- Missing data stays missing instead of being filled with invented values.
How to read the research
Start with the finding, then check the selected dates, units and source. Historical relationships describe the sample shown; they do not predict the next price move.
- Use the data table when an exact value matters.
- Read the limitation beside the result before comparing it with another series.
- Treat dealer prices, taxes, storage and product premiums as separate transaction inputs.
Who writes the pages
GoldObserve Research is the site's shared editorial byline. It identifies work produced and reviewed for GoldObserve; it is not a named analyst, broker, dealer or investment adviser.
Check the evidence
The data-source page explains where each series comes from and how current it is. Method pages explain conversions, formulas and missing-data rules.
