CURRENT PRIVACY DESIGN · VERSION 2
Only daily aggregate counts are kept
Each accepted action immediately increases a counter such as “research page view” or “calculator link opened.” GoldObserve does not keep a row for the individual action and cannot use these counts to reconstruct a person's visit.

BROWSER-LOCAL PRODUCT STATE
Preferences and public-data fallbacks stay on this device
The market dashboard can store selected currency, weight unit, time range, followed indicator and a last-view link in browser storage. It can also retain the last valid public market response so an unavailable provider does not leave the interface blank. These exact preferences and values stay in your browser and are not included in the anonymous use counts.
Your controls: GoldObserve does not send these counts when the browser exposes Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
DATA THAT THE CONTRACT FORBIDS
No identity, private inputs or high-cardinality browsing trail
- Stable user, device, account or session identifiers
- IP address, full user agent, browser fingerprint or precise location
- Full URL, query string, referrer or exact client timestamp
- Selected chart dates, selected prices or values
- Calculator, inventory, portfolio, alert or tax inputs
- Contact details, free text, uploads or retained raw event logs
HOSTING LOGS
Security logs are separate from anonymous use counts
The web host may keep ordinary access and security logs under its own policy. Those logs are not combined with GoldObserve's daily product counts. Contact us if you need the current host-specific privacy details.
HOW TO READ THE NUMBERS
Counts describe activity, not people or causation
A page-view count cannot tell us how many unique people visited, whether the same person returned, why somebody chose a feature or whether a design change caused an outcome. We use the totals only to see which broad areas deserve maintenance and improvement.
