*Fine grams are calculated from the official fine-troy-ounce labels using 31.1034768 grams per troy ounce; they are not presented as independently published gross weights. Banco de México says the one-, half- and quarter-ounce coins began in 1981 and the tenth- and twentieth-ounce sizes were added in 1991.

Two official Banco de México pages disagree on the one-ounce diameter
Banco de México's current Spanish page and official numismatic catalog list 34.5 mm for the one-ounce Gold Libertad. Its English page lists 34.0 mm. GoldObserve displays 34.5 mm because two current official records agree, but preserves the conflict here. A half-millimeter discrepancy is exactly why a single dimension must never be treated as an authenticity verdict.

Compare delivered cost divided by total fine ounces. Smaller coins can fit a budget while carrying a larger percentage premium.
Name year and finish
A generic “Gold Libertad” quote is incomplete. Bullion and proof pieces can have different markets, condition expectations and packaging.
Ask for a written bid
A high premium only preserves value when the resale market pays for the same product identity. Compare same-time ask and bid.
